Hearts Aglow


   As Christmas comes in 2023, it's a time of joy and excitement. Beyond the fancy decorations and bright lights, Christmas is about thinking and appreciating things. It's not just about getting lots of stuff but about important things like love, understanding, and being together.



    During Christmas, we should focus on love. It's a chance to show and get love in different ways, like being nice, giving hugs, or saying kind words. While we're busy with gifts and meals, the real meaning is about making strong connections with people around us—family, friends, and even people we don't know well.


  Being kind is a big part of Christmas too. As we enjoy the celebrations, we should think about people who might be having a tough time or feeling lonely. Christmas reminds us to be kind by helping others, volunteering, or just being there for someone. When we show kindness, Christmas becomes a time of hope, making life better for those who need it.


    Christmas is not just about our own celebrations; it's about being part of a bigger group. Whether we're joining community events, singing carols, or helping out locally, the idea is to celebrate together. Christmas isn't just in our homes; it's about all of us as a community, spreading happiness and unity.

Blueprints of Change

    The start of our Community-Based Research (CBR) project was both thrilling and challenging. First, we formed a group and had meetings. We discussed our ideas and distributed the tasks among ourselves. Despite the overpowering feeling, we banded together and arranged ourselves for the work ahead.              Next, we conducted interviews with various vendors in Vigan. It was difficult because they were not always available. But we refused to give up. We kept trying until we got the information we needed. This showed me the value of not giving up, no matter how difficult things were.                 Following data collection, we each worked on our own parts of the project.
