Q3 in Review

The third quarter was full of experiences that expanded my knowledge and helped me to develop more. From making blog posts to trying out HTML activities, each moment pushed me forward.                     I explored the colorful traditions of Ilocos Sur Festival, learning more about our cultural heritage and the beauty of our differences.                     Valentine's Day 2024 reminded me of the many kinds of love we experience in life, like love for family, friends, and ourselves.                     Learning HTML was tough at first, but with practice, I got better at coding. Each little success boosted my confidence and showed me that hard work pays off.                     A...

Blueprints of Change

The start of our Community-Based Research (CBR) project was both thrilling and challenging. First, we formed a group and had meetings. We discussed our ideas and distributed the tasks among ourselves. Despite the overpowering feeling, we banded together and arranged ourselves for the work ahead.              Next, we conducted interviews with various vendors in Vigan. It was difficult because they were not always available. But we refused to give up. We kept trying until we got the information we needed. This showed me the value of not giving up, no matter how difficult things were.                 Following data collection, we each worked on our own parts of the project. We assisted each other out while remaining focused on our mission. Then, we decided to convert our research into a web design. T hen we decided to make our study into a website. It was a little challenging, but we worked toget...

The planning for this event begins months in advance, with each student devoting time to ensure that everything goes successfully. The event takes shape with the help and guidance of our dedicated instructors/ mentors, with each teacher contributing significant information and assisting in the coordination of the many performances.                   One of the highlights of High School Day is the variety of dance performances prepared by each grade level. From energetic modern routines to graceful traditional or festival dances, each performance showcases the talents and creativity of the students. Under the guidance of our t...

Unity in Diversity

Women's History Month in 2024 celebrates the amazing contributions of women who have spent their lives fighting for fairness, variety, and making everyone feel included. Throughout history, women have faced lots of challenges in their fight for the same rights and chances as men. From the suffragists who fought for women's right to vote to the civil rights activists who stood up against unfair treatment, women have been at the front of social movements, breaking rules and pushing for changes.      One of the most famous people in the fight for fairness is Rosa Parks, who refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus. Her act started the Montgomery Bus Boycott and showed resistance against racial separation. Rosa's strong belief in fairness and equality inspires women everywhere.   In the fight for gender fairness, Malala Yousafzai has become a strong voice for girls' education. Even though she faced threats and violence, she kept speaking o...
