A Day to Remember!

Every year, students at Ilocos Sur National High School look forward to the annual High School Day celebration. It's a day full of excitement and camaraderie, bringing together students of all grade levels. Everyone gathers to rejoice as one large family. The planning for this event begins months in advance, with each student devoting time to ensure that everything goes successfully. The event takes shape with the help and guidance of our dedicated instructors/ mentors, with each teacher contributing significant information and assisting in the coordination of the many performances.

One of the highlights of High School Day is the variety of dance performances prepared by each grade level. From energetic modern routines to graceful traditional or festival dances, each performance showcases the talents and creativity of the students. Under the guidance of our teachers, students practice tirelessly to perfect their routines, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Despite the hot weather, the warmth and energy of the participants never waver. Every step and every beat is a proof to the unity and spirit of the school community.

The name "A Day to Remember" perfectly captures the significance of High School Day. It's a rare opportunity for students to come together and create lasting memories that they'll cherish for years to come. In the hustle and bustle of school life, moments like these remind us of the importance of friendship and camaraderie. With the unbendable support of our teachers, students embrace the festivities with open arms, knowing that these moments are fleeting and precious.

Beyond the fun and excitement, High School Day also serves as a reminder of the bonds that unite us as a school community. It's a day when differences are set aside, and everyone comes together to celebrate what makes us unique and special. As the cheers and laughter fill the air, it's clear that High School Day isn't just an event, it's a celebration of unity, friendship, and the unforgettable memories that make high school truly special, made possible by the support and guidance of our dedicated teachers.

Blueprints of Change

The start of our Community-Based Research (CBR) project was both thrilling and challenging. First, we formed a group and had meetings. We discussed our ideas and distributed the tasks among ourselves. Despite the overpowering feeling, we banded together and arranged ourselves for the work ahead.              Next, we conducted interviews with various vendors in Vigan. It was difficult because they were not always available. But we refused to give up. We kept trying until we got the information we needed. This showed me the value of not giving up, no matter how difficult things were.                 Following data collection, we each worked on our own parts of the project. We assisted each other out while remaining focused on our mission. Then, we decided to convert our research into a web design. T hen we decided to make our study into a website. It was a little challenging, but we worked toget...

Let's Make a Difference Together!

In September, people all across the United States come together for National Clean-Up Month. It's like a special time that tells us to take action, do something good, and take care of our world. During this month, we get to work together and make our places look beautiful by picking up trash.         National Clean-Up Month is a chance for everyone to do more than just clean up by themselves. You can help by cleaning up local parks, beaches, streets, or by joining clean-up events in our barangays. There are many easy ways to get involved.         When you join these clean-up efforts, it's not only about making our communities look nicer, but it's also about helping the environment. When we throw away trash and recycle the right way, it can make our air and water cleaner. It also protects animals and saves natural places. And when the environment is clean, it makes people feel happy and proud.        ...
