Whispers of Love

Mother's Day in the Philippines is not just a day, it's a celebration of love, and appreciation for everything moms do. It's a time when families come together to honor and cherish the special women in their lives.

In Filipino tradition, Mother's Day is celebrated with warmth and affection. Families often start the day by greeting their mothers with heartfelt messages and expressions of love. These words may seem simple, but they hold deep meaning, showing how much we appreciate our moms.

You're like the moonlight that shines in the dark. You are the light in my darkness and the strength in my trials. Nobody can really understand a mother's love. It is endless, there is nothing that compares to it.

One of the most cherished/loved traditions on Mother's Day is giving gifts. It's not about expensive gifts, but the thought and effort behind them. Whether it's a bouquet of flowers, a box of chocolates, or a handmade card, the gesture shows our love for our moms.

Another important part of Mother's Day is spending time together as a family. Enjoying a special meal at home or going out for fun activities, the focus is on creating memories with our moms. These moments strengthen our bond and remind us of the love that binds us together.

Your love and sacrifices have made me who I am today. Your support and patience inspire me every day. On this Mother's Day, I want to thank you for everything you do. You are my guiding light, my source of strength, and my greatest blessing. Thank you for being an amazing mom.

To all the moms out there, your love and sacrifices don't go unnoticed. You are the heart and soul of our families, and we are forever grateful for everything you do. Happy Mother's Day!

Blueprints of Change

The start of our Community-Based Research (CBR) project was both thrilling and challenging. First, we formed a group and had meetings. We discussed our ideas and distributed the tasks among ourselves. Despite the overpowering feeling, we banded together and arranged ourselves for the work ahead.              Next, we conducted interviews with various vendors in Vigan. It was difficult because they were not always available. But we refused to give up. We kept trying until we got the information we needed. This showed me the value of not giving up, no matter how difficult things were.                 Following data collection, we each worked on our own parts of the project. We assisted each other out while remaining focused on our mission. Then, we decided to convert our research into a web design. T hen we decided to make our study into a website. It was a little challenging, but we worked toget...

Let's Make a Difference Together!

In September, people all across the United States come together for National Clean-Up Month. It's like a special time that tells us to take action, do something good, and take care of our world. During this month, we get to work together and make our places look beautiful by picking up trash.         National Clean-Up Month is a chance for everyone to do more than just clean up by themselves. You can help by cleaning up local parks, beaches, streets, or by joining clean-up events in our barangays. There are many easy ways to get involved.         When you join these clean-up efforts, it's not only about making our communities look nicer, but it's also about helping the environment. When we throw away trash and recycle the right way, it can make our air and water cleaner. It also protects animals and saves natural places. And when the environment is clean, it makes people feel happy and proud.        ...
