Surian Spectacle

The Ilocos Sur Festival in 2024 is a time of immense joy and pride for us Ilocanos. It's a moment when we gather to rejoice in our unique culture and heritage, showcasing the finest of what our province has to offer. Among the highlights of the festival is the Illumina Fest, where talented bands and singers take the stage, filling the night sky with melodies that resonate deeply within us. It's a time of dancing and singing of laughter and togetherness, as we revel in the beauty of our shared traditions.

Yet, the festival isn't solely about music and entertainment. It's also an occasion to celebrate our local businesses and artisans through the "Tawid Ken Kultura". Here, various towns and cities across Ilocos Sur unite to showcase their diverse products and trade fair. From beautifully crafted textiles to delicious delicacies, the "Tawid Ken Kultura" offers a feast for the senses highlighting the skill and creativity of our people. It's a reminder of the resilience and resourcefulness of our communities and a testament to the abundance of talent and innovation present within our province.

Furthermore, the Ilocos Sur Festival is a vibrant celebration of our cultural heritage showcasing traditional dances and stories passed down through generations. It's a time to honor the resilience and wisdom of our ancestors, whose legacy continues to shape our province. Through colorful festivities, we embrace our shared heritage with pride and commitment to preserving its essence for future generations.

Blueprints of Change

It was difficult because they were not always available. But we refused to give up. We kept trying until we got the information we needed. This showed me the value of not giving up, no matter how difficult things were.                 Following data collection, we each worked on our own parts of the project. We assisted each other out while remaining focused on our mission. Then, we decided to convert our research into a web design. T hen we decided to make our study into a website. It was a little challenging, but we worked toget...

Let's Make a Difference Together!

During this month, we get to work together and make our places look beautiful by picking up trash.         National Clean-Up Month is a chance for everyone to do more than just clean up by themselves. You can help by cleaning up local parks, beaches, streets, or by joining clean-up events in our barangays. There are many easy ways to get involved.         When you join these clean-up efforts, it's not only about making our communities look nicer, but it's also about helping the environment. When we throw away trash and recycle the right way, it can make our air and water cleaner. It also protects animals and saves natural places. And when the environment is clean, it makes people feel happy and proud.        ...
